Welcome!

Thanks for being here and for your interest in group classes, private instruction, and/or private tutoring! Fizz and Figures was created because I have a passion for teaching math and love sharing that with students. I have a desire to make a subject often labeled as "hard" accessible to all students through structured, high-quality lessons focused on in-person hands-on learning through interactive notebooks, activities, and projects. My math courses encourage curiosity, critical thinking, problem solving, and help students build confidence in their abilities. I emphasize creating a classroom environment where all feel welcome, supported, comfortable participating, and are excited to learn. Classes are in-person and geared towards homeschool and hybrid students. I love what I do and can't wait to explore the world of math with you!

What Fizz and Figures offers:

• Upper middle to high school math classes

• Intentionally small class sizes (maximum 5-6 students)
